Online Test Series & Group Discussion

What is an online test series?

By taking an online test series, candidates can determine how much study they've done and how much more they need to do as part of their preparation.

As a result, virtual tests and mock tests have replaced them. Online tests are the new method of testing someone's knowledge.

This is a mock exam, or practice test, that helps students analyze how much more or less they need to focus on their studies in order to succeed on their final exams.

It is a series of mock exams conducted virtually rather than by hand. Candidates take these tests to gain confidence before taking the actual test. With the internet, a person can access the online test series from anywhere in the city. They are designed to be extremely user-friendly and accessible from anywhere.

Sanyukta Singh Studio conducts an online test series to help students determine how much study they have done and how much more they need to do.

Group Discussion-

In a group discussion, people share ideas and activities based on one basic idea. Each member represents their perspective based on that basic idea.

How Group Discussions Work?

Normally, 8-10 candidates are put into a leaderless group, and are given a specific situation to analyse and discuss within a given time frame.

In some cases, the group may be given a case study and asked to come up with a solution.

A topic may be given to the group for discussion.

The members of the group will be evaluated by a panel of observers.

Objective of a Group Discussion-

Despite the fact that the written exam tests quantitative, reasoning, and verbal skills, those skills aren't the only ones a future manager should possess. A successful manager should not only meet quotas, but also contribute to their teams. That's the goal of GDs.

A GD tests managerial abilities such as interpersonal skills, leadership, analytical and rational thinking, knowledge, and personality traits.

B-School panels use it to evaluate candidates based on a variety of factors, including content and knowledge, rational thought processes, communication skills, group behavior, and leadership abilities.

How to prepare for a Group Discussion-

As experts recommend, you should develop your knowledge base while improving your communication skills. It is also essential to learn how to manage yourself during the group discussion.

Tips for a successful Group Discussion-

A good GD requires you to improve your knowledge quotient. Keep up with current issues in newspapers and magazines, especially year-end issues that summarise the year. Watch and listen to news and current affairs programmes on news channels. By using the media, candidates need to be aware of contemporary issues.

There are some group discussion topics of perennial interest.

Economics covers FDI, stock markets, liberalisation, employment scenarios, capital convertibility, rupee vs dollar, inflation, export-import, socialists vs capitalists, etc.

You should prepare one- or two-page notes on important sectors such as IT, ITES, banking, insurance, retail, telecom, healthcare, agriculture, etc. Find out what has changed in the past year and what lies ahead.
