The National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), a body of the Council of Architecture in New Delhi, is responsible for administering the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). This test serves as an entry requirement into undergraduate architecture programs across the country, assessing a student's suitability through their skill set. Drawing and observation, proportion, aesthetic sense and critical thinking are some of the qualities that must be evidenced in order to gain admission; all of which are garnered from long-term experience.
