About UCEED

IIT Bombay conducts the (UCEED) to shortlist candidates for B. Des Admission to IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. 

UCEED Entrance Exam is a computer based Test (CBT) and Consist of PART A and PART B. PART A of the Exam is Aptitude Test wherein PART B is about Creative Skills. Students Only Who Clears the cut off of PART A are eligible to get their PART B Evaluated.

UCEED ELIGILBILITY CRITERIA

1. Candidates Who have cleared their 12th or appearing in 12th at the time UCEED Entrance Exam from any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) are eligible to appear.
2. Candidates can only appear 2 times in consecutive years.
3. The Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000 if belonging to OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL Category and born on or after October 1, 1995 if belonging to SC/ST or PwD category.

About CEED

Common Entrance Examination for Design is a Joint Entrance Exam of post Graduate Studies and conducted by IIT Bombay on National Level. Shortlisted candidates appear for Individual IITs participating which are IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIITDM Jabalpur and IIT Hyderabad.

Unlike UCEED, CEED Entrance Exam have 3 rounds of Scrutiny. First round of the exam is Judging student’s observation, visual, drawing skills, reasoning, problem solving and creativity. Shortlisted candidates from first round appear for the second round of exam which is CEED Studio Test further they go for Personal interview round for CEED conducted by individual IITs.

CEED ELIGILBILITY CRITERIA

1. Candidate must have completed a degree/diploma/post graduate degree  program of  Minimum THREE years after (10+2) or must be appearing for final exam by July 2025-26.
2. There is not age limit criteria for the candidates appearing for CEED Entrance Exam 2025-26.
